Emergency Appeal!
Eastern Afghanistan was devastated by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake.
In a state of resilience, the Afghan people in Paktika District have been tested again by strong earthquake conditions. The incident on 22 June 2022 has claimed about 1000 lives and resulted in 1600 others being injured.
The death toll is expected to rise as the area is far from hospitals and those affected have limited excess for transportation.
